I'm a 25 year old New Englander working in Regulatory Affairs. I married my high school sweetheart and we bought a house a couple of years ago. I'm currently debating what car I want next, or if I want a garage. After having to thaw my frozen-shut gas door with my bare hands this morning at the pump, I'm thinking a garage. However, I DD an 08 civic lx, its a good car, but wicked boring.
Here's my short list for replacements: Cadillac CTS-v (04-07), Pontiac G8 GT, e90 BMW 335
The cars I enjoy most are 90's-00's super cars, one-offs, forgotten concepts, future classics, factory sleepers, and depreciation specials. I maintain an automotive bucket list of cars I want to own in my lifetime, which is currently at 76 cars. I enjoy going to car shows to see which unicorns I can spot. I also collect 1/18 die casts and play Fourza (snadeau210). I consider myself an amateur detailer, and I have fun doing it. I discovered Jalopnik through Twitter. It was the only thing I liked about Twitter. I read the FP for a while, and then started to comment. I got frustrated in the grey, and discovered all that is Oppo.
Anyway, my obsession with cars started when my parents gave me a Hot Wheels Testarossa when I was two. I flushed it down the toilet, and never looked back! I discovered the 300sl Gullwing in the 5th grade in one of my dad's old Hemmings catalog. By the 6th grade, I learned what the Ferrari 550 was, and decided I wanted to be the CEO of Ferrari. I hunted Deloreans when searching for my first car, and I'm so glad I didn't pull the trigger. My father also is a car guy. When I was a kid, he had a '39 and '46 caddy, and a '62 Buick. He's into stuff like Rat rods, Jeeps, and motorcycles.
Besides cars, I enjoy American football, bass and electric guitar, and listening to music.
And now you all know way too much about me.
Ps that Ferrari I flushed came back up 18 years later, true story...

I hope you kept it the second time around just for the story!

Great pedigree. Garage is top on my list. You can't tinker properly without a garage.

Right? My plan is to build a three car disguised as a two car garage. In the winter, I'll put my toy/project on dollies and pivot it to the back so I can park my dd in there too. No room or monies for a true three car garage...

Lol I thought about it, but clearly you've never seen a hot wheels car that spent 18 years stuck in a toilet pipe. Stuff was growing man... Growing!

no... you are correct I do not believe I've ever encountered anything like that before. but a dip in some cleaning supply of some sort would work I assume! or maybe a nice soak...
